Most people see Lagos traffic as a waste of life. For Foma Briggs, it was an opportunity for dream/passion reflection. Stuck between the Muson Center and the Army Flag Staff gate, the “Conflict” reached a breaking point. The music in his head was louder than the honking horns, but his bank account was silent.
It was Thursday, December 7, 2023, 6:51 AM. Stuck in the notorious trafic crawl at Mobolaji Johnson Arena road, somewhere between the Muson Center and the 3-Star Army Flag Staff gate. In that moment, the “Conflict” became clear: the music in his head was at war with the Excel spreadsheets in his bag, the rhythm pulse in his head call for expression while the body journey to the boardroom office at IHS Towers, Victoria Island. At that junction, Afro925™ was born.
• The Achievement: Successfully launching the Afro925 framework on February 1, 2026, transitioning from a lone dreamer to the Originator of a documented sub-genre.
• The Quirk: 80% of the entire movement’s strategy, digital assets, and philosophy were designed (Forged in Transit - from Ikorodu to the Island) “This movement wasn’t born in a quiet studio; it was written in the trenches of the daily grind. 5% were finalized during office lunch hours, and the rest was solidified at home, on weekends.
